In the Corner X is an anonymous project. Notes are posted without anything that could identify the person who wrote them.
What we collect when you leave a note
- The question you answered and your note.
- Where you are, if you choose to say. If you scanned a flyer, the flyer's spot (like "Mission") is filled in for you.
- The card color you picked.
- Your email address, which the form asks for.
- The date and time it was sent, which Google Forms records.
We use your email only to tell you when In the Corner launches. It's never posted, never shown with your note and never shared. We don't ask for your name or phone number.
Where it's kept
Notes are collected through Google Forms and kept in a private Google Sheet. Google handles that data under Google's Privacy Policy.
What happens to a note
Every note is read before anything is posted. Anything that could identify someone is taken out, and long notes may be shortened. Nothing else is changed. Selected notes are posted on this site and on Instagram at @inthecornerx, signed only with a neighborhood and a date. Only the day is shown, never the time.
Please don't include names, addresses or other details about yourself or anyone else.
This website
There are no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. The notes you see are loaded from a published Google Sheet, so your browser contacts Google when the page loads. If you arrive from a flyer, your browser remembers that flyer's spot until you close the tab, only to fill in the form.
Taking a note down
To ask for a note to be removed, or for your email to be deleted, message us on Instagram at @inthecornerx with the note's exact words.
Changes and contact
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions go to @inthecornerx on Instagram.
